KIM TAYLOR

FOUNDER & CEO

Kim is the visionary at Taylor Collective Solutions with more than 30 years of experience in public relations, media and campaign strategies, business development, and event planning. Kim has worked both in Austin and nationwide with dignitaries from U.S. presidents, senators, and congressmen to infamous activists, celebrities and community leaders. She has planned countless major events and executed outreach and media strategies both in Texas and nationwide. Kim led the charge to organize the western portion of the United States to advocate for and secure the renowned Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). She has extensive experience with major infrastructure projects, including leading a team on planning a national infrastructure summit for a decade. She has executed national and local media outreach events and helped to execute four major marches with millions of attendees in total, including two in Austin. Kim has been interviewed by both local and international news organizations. She has been an advisor to major political candidates, top organizing NGOs and numerous startups. She also served as the previous Austin mayor’s campaign co-chair. She has served on numerous boards and currently serves on the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Board as well as the Downtown Commission. Kim lives in Austin with her husband and two children. 

 

BLANCA LABORDE

STRATEGIC PARTNER

Blanca Laborde is an attorney and government affairs consultant. Blanca has been at the intersection of business and government for more than 20 years. Her transportation expertise includes planes, trains, automobiles, ocean vessels, and using innovation and technology to move goods and people. She recently led the Government Partnerships team for a transportation technology startup focused on creating bespoke and innovative mobility programs to build robust transportation networks designed to meet the needs of thriving communities. 

Blanca has represented clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, and international infrastructure and investment groups, to trade associations, local governments, start-ups, and public agencies. Blanca has a track record of building strategies to achieve business goals and finding solutions in a continually evolving legislative and regulatory landscape. 

Her broad practice across a range of issues helps Blanca to keep sight of the big picture and the moving parts and diverging interests that are part of the policymaking process. In her capacity as a lobbyist, Blanca works with her clients to identify policy goals and develop a legislative and outreach strategy to achieve those goals. Those strategies include maintaining relationships with legislators, regulators, advocates, and grassroots organizations through one-on-one outreach, organizing events, panels, conferences, and speaking opportunities with elected officials and community leaders. 

 

STEFANIE WEBER

MANAGING PRINCIPAL

Stefanie has over 15 years of senior-level political and issue campaign, government, and non-profit experience. She’s been instrumental in winning races at the state, congressional, and gubernatorial levels. She has also managed candidate committees, super PACs, and 501c4s. She engrosses herself in her work and has a proven track record of organizing and managing successful projects. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Social Anthropology and Public Health and Inequality. After college, she began her career in New York City writing for various art publications and as a public relations intern at TSE Cashmere.

 

SPENCER MILLER-PAYNE

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Spencer has over 25 years of professional communications, public affairs, and public policy experience in state government, higher education, political, and non-profit arenas in Texas and Washington, D.C. He has a successful track record helping organizations and individuals build their public profiles, increase organization visibility, and produce quality content and collateral. Spencer has a degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters Degree in Public Policy from New England College.

 

KATIE IBARRA

PROJECT ASSISTANT MANAGER

Katie has several years of experience in local political advocacy. She began her advocacy work as a volunteer and found her passion which has now led to a career in advocacy for our clients. She has spearheaded numerous media events, organizing college students and community members in postcard writing, press interviews, and lobbying of the Texas legislature. She enjoys opportunities to work directly with clients and identify and provide what they need to be successful. Katie is passionate about the environment and educating community members on local issues and how to get individuals more engaged.

 

ESME OROZCO

PROJECT ASSISTANT MANAGER

Esme’s experience includes working with NGOs, venture capitalists in technology and cybersecurity, advocacy groups, and much more. Esme’s career first began as a student in college where she interned twice through Virtual Student Federal Service, graduating with a BA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies with a minor in Russian. Esme has previous experience working in the Texas State Legislature and she is an alumni of Progressive Pipeline, an organization that places underrepresented candidates in paid roles at social change groups, while working at SKDK’s Public Affairs and Political consulting firm in New York. Esme is trilingual and fluent in Spanish with some proficiency in Russian.

Caroline assists her team with our clients' social media, writing, and design needs. As a public relations specialist, Caroline is proficient and specializes in writing, editing, problem-solving, social media, and creative brand strategy. Caroline is an expert in social media management.

 

ALEKSA FLYCKT

PROJECT ASSISTANT

Aleksa has experience in client communications, event planning, and social media management. She is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. Aleksa is creative and intentional about content creation, research, and sustainability. Aleksa is also an avid sticker collector and loves all kinds of music.

 

ELIOT LAM

PROJECT ASSISTANT

For the last few years, Eliot has worked in the Texas State Legislature and in Texas politics. Eliot is our newest team member and manages social media and research. He is proficient in web design, Canva, Better Unite, Constant Contact, MailChimp, and many other PR tools. He is passionate about political issues relating to social and economic justice and has dedicated his career to contributing to causes that promote an equitable society for all.
