One day he had the good fortune to record Ray Wylie Hubbard telling a funny ‘tall tale’ and had the idea to create an animated short film with animator Dano Johnson. Collection Agency Films was born and the viral animated short went on to play SXSW and other film festivals. Seven years later, Collection Agency Films has won numerous awards for its comedic political, musical, and educational short films and ads.Troy also runs Austin’s ‘House of Songs’ which allows international collaboration between visiting musicians and artists.

He is passionate about innovation and working with great teams to build amazing products. Currently, he is the Co-Founder and CEO of FlashProps, Inc. a stealth startup. He is also a co-founder of Viafo. Viafo’s cloud based app-services integration platform eliminates the complexity and engineering time associated with integrating social media with Mobile and Tablet apps.

 

Bijou FinneyBijou Finney is a Creative Consulting Partner. After graduating from Texas State University, she was hired on as head buyer and regional events director at Southern Thread. While also adding to her resume, merchandise manager for two bands and account manager at East End Ink Printing. Shortly after she opened Golden Bones Boutique and Salon as a one-stop shop for wardrobe styling, hair and make up. In 2013 she founded the Velvet Cartel with Beaux Jackson, which is housed within Golden Bones event space. Her goal for the Velvet Cartel is to bring a stylistic edge to local events and companies images while maintaining best customer experience.

Beaux JacksonBeaux Jackson is a Creative Consulting Partner. Beaux graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio Television and Film. Beaux is a swiss army knife of design and content creation. With over 25 years of experience in video, film, photography and graphic/web design. Beaux has managed events, directed large productions, and designed campaigns for statewide organizations, private corporations, and nonprofits. Beaux is a professional editor, motion graphics author, and production specialist overseeing all aspects of production for The Velvet Cartel.

She has worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes from local companies in Austin to Statewide Government in Texas and even National companies. Brianda excels in her advertising career by taking clients through a seamless process including development of the campaign strategy, idea generation for creative approach, successful implementation and optimization for maximum results.

A native of Fort Worth and a graduate of the University of Texas, Emily Williams has worked with government agencies, nonprofits, and political campaigns focusing on fund development before coming to the Texas Observer in 2014. She has served as the Development Director for a statewide environmental organization, Finance Director on a nationally targeted congressional race, and as a consultant to a number of campaigns and organizations across the state.
