Kim has worked at all levels of the public and private sectors, as well as with elected officials and corporations. She has managed multi-year issue campaigns, implemented strategic corporate plans, and raised millions in individual and corporate sponsorships for various organizations and causes.

Her experience is vast and diverse, and includes public relations, event planning, development, marketing, direct marketing management, lobbying, campaigning, fieldwork and communications. Kim previously planned major events in cities such as New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and of course, throughout Texas.

She has orchestrated and managed hundreds of events including concerts, movie premieres and galas, and even an auction for a non-profit at Sotheby’s. Kim worked on advertising, planning and executing two major marches on the Mall in Washington, D.C., with over one million in attendance at each. Her endeavors afforded her the opportunity to work with celebrities and dignitaries such as former President Clinton, Senator Sanders, Susan Sarandon, Bono, Julianne Moore, Gloria Steinem, Secretary Madeline Albright, Moby, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, Dave Mathews, Stevie Wonder, to name a few.

She organized the western states in lower-income communities to pass the infamous Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) spearheaded by the late Senator Kennedy and Senator Hatch.
